Using periscope to learn what inspires random New Yorkers

I’m in NY at BlogHer to receive an award as a Voice of the Year honoree. Yesterday I met up with my buddy, Mario Armstrong, to do my first Periscope video EVER. What ensued is pure hilarity.

What’s the inspiration riff all about?

I asked Mario three questions:

  1. Why is he walking up to strangers on the streets of NYC and asking them what inspires them?
  2. What does he hope to accomplish by doing so?
  3. What has been his biggest surprise so far?

The energy in the video is nuts and the comments from the Periscope viewers are even better.

P.S., You can follow me on Periscope at @jamesoliverjr.
