Can We Afford to Wait For The New Year to Live The Life We Want?

I get why the new year feels like new beginnings and a perfect time to reflect and set goals since there is a “clean slate.”

But is a new year really a new beginning? And should we wait until the new year to decide to live the life we want?

Don’t Wait. There Is Only Now.

I think y’all know me well enough by now to know I say, no.

We shouldn’t wait until a new year to live the life we want and fulfill our personal legend.

You have 365 days to make a change. – Unknown

I see weekly posts on Facebook about people losing friends and loved ones both young and old. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us. And y’all know I think it’s risky playing it safe with life.

I love this quote from Emmy Award winner, Mario Armstrong, from my interview with him:

With complacency comes regret.

So, decide today, or any moment of and day-of any year-what you want to be in life and commit to making it happen.

No matter what.

That is all.
