I had to be able to tell a credible story to investors to get the cash I needed. Thankfully, the fourth quarter of last year was good, which made it possible for me to raise the money.

I’m thankful for my friends, many of whom have stepped up to help in unexpected ways.
And I’m thankful for the many strangers who’ve also helped.
And I know for sure, persistence is way more important than patience.
